The North Ryde Soccer Club - 2010 Season
Press Release - Feb 2010
Expanding our girls’ teams, our coaching development programs and rolling out a range of club merchandise.

North Ryde Soccer Club looks forward to another huge season of soccer in 2010. Being a World Cup year, we know the focus will be on "football" from the top level right down to the grass roots. We will again have adult teams including Over 35s, Junior Teams from U9 to U16 and a fantastic Minis program for boys and girls from 5 years old. We are also We are also very excited with the expansion of our Girls program to cater for girls from 9 to 14.

Our Registration Day is Sunday 7th February 2009 at North Ryde RSL (Youth Club) from 1pm to 4pm.

North Ryde Soccer Club remains a great example of a small community-based club which talks volumes about the passion in our club, from players, parents and supporters, and the long-standing links we have in the local community. We will again be working with local businesses for support of our club. With over 320 players and many more parents and supporters associated with our club we represent a significant group of local families for local businesses to service.

In 2010, North Ryde Soccer Club will further develop our Co-operative Coaching and Development program into the Junior teams. Powered by KickStart, this program is well-established in our Minis teams and provides the structure and support for our coaches to work with our players to realize their full potential by developing skills to go with the teamwork and mateship that soccer provides.

At North Ryde we are "tuned" into the Football Australia approach to develop the complete footballer with an array of great skills, whether they be a future Australian player, like our very own Alex Wilkinson (current Mariners captain) or just a young boy or girl wanting to play with their mates.

We will again have a busy social calendar in 2010, starting with our upcoming Social Golf Day and continuing with our now legendary Music Trivia night. The Air Guitar contest in 2009 is still being talked about as one of the cultural highlights in the district.

In 2010, we will be launching an array of club merchandise, including polo shirts, caps, hoodies and gear bags. You will be able to buy your gear to show your support for the mighty NRSC.

We welcome new players to come along and join in the fun
