FRONT PAGE Welcome to the 2010 Football Season  The North Ryde Soccer Club welcomes both new and returning players to the 2010 football season. Continuing on it's success in previous years, the club will field teams in both the Gladesville-Hornsby (GHFA) and North West Sydney Womens Football (NWSWF) associations. Now that the registration and renewal of new and existing players is well underway, the focus turns to the Selection Sessions that will be held for U8 to U15 teams over the next couple of weekends. The selection sessions are essentially an instrument by which the club can attempt to create balanced matches for all teams and players. If the club ranks their teams well then each team should have a good season with a similar amount of wins and losses, and without too much discrepancy in the scorelines. There are two selection sessions held over two consecutive weekends (see News & Events for dates and times). One session concentrates on skills and the other on general game-play. The club will attempt to allocate players to a team and division that is appropriate to their age, football skill and ability. If a player wants to be considered for selection in an age group different to their own then this must be indicated on their registration form.
